Bottom entranced by the fairies Bottom and Titania fall asleep
Oberon (Don Brown) points out the folly, watched by Puck (Pip Rolls) Titania and Bottom flirting together
"mmmmm   I thought I had ...................." Titania dreams on.....
The mechanicals discuss their play. Peter Quince (Bill Keble) describes the play.
Puck and Oberon play with Demetrius Hermia (Lucy Cox) is held at bay by Demetrius, as Lysander and Helena watch.
The would-be lovers continue to argue. It's the day for the play.
Egeus (Ian Radburn) watches the rude Wall played by Snout (Ed Stonard) revealing his chink. Theseus (Charlie Crowther-Smith) with Hippolyta (Lesley Parker) watching the play.
Bottom as Pyramus kisses Flute as Thisbe (Brian Turner) through the hole in the wall. Pyramus finds Thisbe's mantle, stained with blood......
Pyramus dies at his own sword........eventually! Hermia spins round on Demetrius and Lysander as she tries to continue to fight.
The fairies attend to Titania and Bottom. The fairies give a delightful dance.
Puck apologises for any offence, and restores amends as the play ends. An appreciative audience applauds the cast. Over 2,200 people saw the production this year.

Friday 3rd July
The One and Only
Hot Chocolate supported by Motown Stax 
Mowtown Stax has a beautiful trio, performing the best hits from the Motwn era! Celebrating 50 years of Mowtown this year !
Hot Chocolate have been performing since 1970. They had no fewer than 25 UK Top 40 singles.
They gave us many of their hits, some featured in 'The Full Monty", until late in the evening.
  
  
Saturday 4th July
Tribute Night 
The Counterfeit Stones supported by T.Rextasy
The ultimate tribute to Marc Bolan and T.Rex using no samplers, backing tapes or wigs! T.Rexstasy have toured with Roy Wood, The Sweet, Slade, Ian Hunter and Status Quo
The Counterfeit Stones probably the second greatest rock and roll band in the world ! (They told us!) They look and sound like the real thing!
Giving "Satisfaction" to a bumper crowd of almost 3000.
Sunday 5th July
The Mowgli Stories
performed by Illyria
Illyria have returned to perform their version of the Mowgli stories. The story is set with Mowgli being found as a baby crawling through the jungle, by a family of wolves that adopt him.

It's all based on a classic by Rudyard Kipling.

The Polesden Prom & Fireworks

Jonathan talking to a a large audience.  Highlights included Handel's Water Music and Mendelssohn's Incidental Music from A Midsummer Night's Dream. And not forgetting those last night favourites Land of Hope and Glory, the famous Sea Songs and Jerusalem, plus music from Oklahoma, topped off with a spectacular fireworks display.
The fireworks started with the Glen Miller Medley Tunes included 'In the Mood', 'Moonlight Serenade', 'Pensylvania 6-5000' and 'St Louis Blues'.
