Friday 4th July
Tribute Night featuring
Rumours of Fleetwod Mac supported by Stipe 
Stipe deliver the ultimate R.E.M experience with Rick Southern sounding like Michael Stipe Paul, Tony, Karl and Pete make up the band.
Rumours of Flettwood Mac have performed at over 350 major theatre concerts. RFM tours with Mick Fleetwod's golden seal of approval.
  
Saturday 5th July
King Arthur and the Sword of the Stone

Cambridge Touring Theatre
 
Merlin helps to judge the best costume competition for the children. The story unfolds despite Morgan Le Fay's confusing antics.
Kit demonstrates the crossbow. The Cambridge Touring Theatre have adapted the story of The Sword in the Stone to produce a fun filled, energetic performance.
Kit and Kate returned as travelling minstrels, 
and brought with them a specially constructed
 crossbow, which children could use to
test their accuracy at shooting at Excalibur.

The Polesden Beach Party

The UK Beach Boys are Ian Baker, Peter Phipps, Steve Stiles and Simon West. They formed in 2001.
The UK Beach Boys opened the evening in a fantasy beachland.
Brothers Darren & Gary Simmons sang convincingly as Barry & Robin Gibb. A side stage view shows some of the additional musicians appearing.

The audience danced along to some of the well known hits. No beach party is complete without a shark raising its ugly head!

  
Sunday 6th July
The Polesden Prom & Fireworks
with the Polesden Lacey Festival Orchestra conducted by
Jonathan Butcher
and featuring Ellie Fagg

 

Ellie Fagg plays "The Lark Ascending" as the birds sing in the trees. Jonathan conducts as the light falls.
A large audience is entranced by the music.  The programme included works from Coates, Edward German, Vaughan Williamsd, Dvorak, Bizet, Rachmaninov, Gershwin, Porter and Johann Strauss 2nd.
The orchestra play arrangements of Gershwin songs. The fireworks are choreographed to music from Porgy and Bess.
10th-12th July
Antony and Cleopatra

The set represents Rome on the left and Egypt on the right.
Mark Antony (Martin Cox) with Octavia (Kate Hudson) The Roman leaders have a party.
Military strength exhibited. Mark Antony addresses his men.
Antony visiting Cleopatra (Sandra Grant) A night view of the performance.
The Triumvirate in discussion with other leaders. Cleopatra invokes a messenger.
Antony is dying, and is led up to Cleopatra, Antony dies in Cleopatras arms.
Cleopatra with Charmian (Amy Putt) and Iras (Lucie Cox) The stick dance.......fascinates........everyone.
The company takes a bow, and well earned applause.
