 Surrey Massed Bands, including 
Staines Brass, Cobham Brass
 and Thames Brass

Clare Martin, Ian Shaw 
and the Jazz fm Quintet 
presented by Charles Nove.

The Sunday Lunchtime Family Concert
 
featured Angela Rippon, and was 
conducted by Jonathan Butcher.

Angela signed lots of autographs, after the concert Angela Rippon with Keith Amos, who wrote the music for "The Steadfast Tin Soldier"

Sunday Night is Music Night 
was a musical pot pourri with a 
spectacular fireworks finale. 

The programme was a mixture of classical and contemporary music.

Music from tv, films and shows completed the entertainment.

The music featured the North Downs Concert Orchestra
conducted by Jonathan Butcher, and introduced
by Angela Rippon.

The set was designed by Gerry Bunzl

Guys and Dolls was presented by
Epsom Light Opera directed by Pip Burley

Some of the signs on the set had previously apppeared in the National Theatre Production

The Open Air Theatre has a striking backdrop of trees

Our tradition of Shakespeare was maintained by a performance of
"A Midsummer Night's  Dream"
 presented by the
Guildford School of Acting
directed by Peter Barlow.

The play was set in the time of the Raj.

Bottom sports a fine ass's head.

The play within the play, was performed by an army concert party.

The audience is entranced by Bottom's appearance.

The fairies wore delightful Indian costumes, and appeared to float in the air.

The Surrey Hills Country Fair combined the
traditional Polesden Fair with the
Box Hill Country Day.

featured Gerry and the Pacemakers
The Barron Knights and the Tornados
with Susan Maughan and Jess Conrad

The Tornados opened the evening.Susan Maughan in good voice as "Bobby's Girl"

The Barron Knights start in sunlight.......

....and it gets darker as the Knights roll on.
